This is such a great story. I cannot express this enough, if you like comics, and definitely if you like batman, go out and buy the 10 issues of this book or wait for the trades. i think vol one is out right now. Its the best thing to come out of the dc new 52 imho.

The piece itself i fucking love. theres sooooo many great things happening here. So much improvement on my photoshop skills. The layout is fantastic and the colors work so well. This truly gives you a tone as to what the story is about. Also i love the background texture, i think it gives it a better life to it. Overall i think its one of my best works to date. Zoom in on my details on batman. i love that the most!!!

I think my favorite part of the picture is how young Bruce's face vaguely appears like one of the Court's masks. Probably unintended, but I like it nonetheless.

haha nice catch! i didnt intend it, Its how david mazzuchelli drew it on the first issue of Batman Year One. I just thought that image was too iconic and simply cant be improved upon haha
